BlueShoe Nashville is excited to be partnering with the Embassy Suites in downtown Nashville for CMA Fest 2027. Located only 50 feet from the Music City Center (the site of Fan Fair X), the stunning Embassy Suites Downtown Nashville has been named as one of The 22 Best Hilton Hotels in the World.

It is always our practice here at BlueShoe to do a test stay at each hotel property before partnering with a new hotel. Read on to learn more about my experience staying at the Embassy Suites this summer and why I enthusiastically recommend this hotel to our BlueShoe CMA Fest 2027 clients.

    The Nashville Experience Starts Here

Walking into the  Embassy Suites Downtown Nashville, I experienced an immediate “Wow!” factor. The modern interior, sleek design, and upscale atmosphere instantly set the tone for what would be an enjoyable stay. Yet despite the sophisticated surroundings, the hotel has a welcoming feel that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile.

The atmosphere throughout the hotel puts guests in the mood for a long weekend of music. A large mural at the reception pays homage to the country queen herself, Dolly Parton, along with two other legends associated with Nashville—Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. County music can be heard piping through the elevators and at the Happy Hour reception, and during my stay, I could feel the energy of Nashville both inside the hotel and as soon as I stepped foot on the sidewalk outside.

However, you don't even have to leave the hotel for a delicious meal or a cup of coffee. The Embassy Suites features a full service in-house steakhouse and bar, Hand Cut Chophouse, which serves premium steaks, craft cocktails, and other menu items in a modern, yet elegant setting. The hotel also has a full-service Starbucks on-site near the main lobby, along with a rooftop bar and restaurant (see below for more about this).

    A Rooftop With a View

One of the highlights of the Embassy Suites downtown is the rooftop area, where guests can enjoy views of the beautiful Nashville skyline. This rooftop area (on the 30th floor of the building) includes an indoor pool and The Overlook bar and restaurant, complete with spectacular views of the city in the background. Guests can also enjoy an outdoor balcony area that is perfect for enjoying sunsets or taking in the city lights. There’s something magical about seeing Nashville from above at night—especially when the streets below are buzzing with music and the excitement of CMA Fest.

    Location, Location, Location

One of the biggest perks of this hotel is its location. If you're visiting Nashville for CMA Fest, you simply can't beat the location. The Embassy Suites sits directly across the street from the Music City Center (where Fan Fair X is held), making it very convenient for festival goers. Honky-tonk lined Broadway is an easy stroll away, as is the CMA Fest Riverfront stage. The pedestrian bridge leading to Nissan Stadium is also within walking distance, making it convenient for heading over to the evening concerts.

    Happy Hour, Every Day!

One of my favorite surprises was the hotel's complimentary evening reception and happy hour. Every day, guests receive two complimentary alcoholic beverages per person, along with a selection of snacks that included tortilla chips and dips, fresh fruit, and cheese. I found the snacks to be delicious and robust enough to carry me through until dinner. I could imagine festival goers stopping by the reception after a day of exploring downtown, enjoying a drink and some snacks, and making it a light supper before heading across town to Nissan Stadium for the evening concerts. The happy hour reception offers a relaxing way to recharge without having to make another restaurant stop in the middle of a busy day. And it's free!

Start the Morning With a Made-to-Order Omelet

The daily complimentary breakfast includes made-to-order omeletes, hot foods (such as bacon, sausage, and potatoes), fruit, cereal, toast, and pastries.

The complimentary breakfast is another hotel perk worth mentioning. Consistent with the Embassy Suites brand, breakfast includes made-to-order omelets, along with other hot breakfast items, fruit, bread, pastries, and coffee. When your day involves miles of walking, a good (and free!) breakfast is definitely appreciated.

    Spacious Suites—Room to Relax

After a full day at CMA Fest, having a comfortable place to return and recharge is important. During my beta test, I stayed in a double-queen suite, and I especially appreciated the spacious layout. Rather than feeling like one large hotel room, the queen suite provides distinct areas for sleeping and relaxing.

The separate bedroom has two queen beds, while the living room area provides a sofa and additional seating. There’s also a well-lit vanity mirror outside the bathroom—a thoughtful feature, particularly when two or more people are getting ready at the same time. Another nice touch for the queen suite: two TVs, with one in the bedroom and another in the living room. In addition, the suite includes a kitchen area with a wet bar, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker.

I also had an opportunity to tour one of the hotel's king suites. The king studio suite has a more open-concept design, with a king bed and sofa arranged within the same spacious living area. Like the double-queen suite, it includes a wet bar, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker.

What struck me most about both types of suites was the comfortable layout and amount of space. After spending the day among the music festival crowds, it’s nice to return to a a spacious and relaxing room.

    Nashville—at your fingertips

What I enjoyed most about the Embassy Suites Downtown Nashville was how well the property combined location, comfort, convenience, and the spirit of Nashville. The rooftop views provide the backdrop. The spacious suites give room to relax. The evening reception, complimentary breakfast, and 24/7 fitness center add value and convenience. And the location puts CMA Fest and Nashville at your fingertips.

For me, it was the kind of place that made experiencing Nashville easier—and that's exactly what I would want in a hotel.
